You See Things as You Are Not as They Are

You don`t see things as they are, you see them as you are. What does this mean?

I think this means that everyone has a different interpretation of the world. For example, when I look at a baseball, I think of an awesome sport that I love to play. It would be hours of entertainment for me.

But if someone who always plays video games nonstop and has never seen a baseball before looks at it, they don`t think of anything. They just think, why am I here and what are these people doing to me. But if you showed me a video game with guns and blood, I wouldn`t know anything about it , but the other person would have a million ideas about that game.

You build reality by how you interpret your experiences.

That means when you look at something you use your background information to know about it.

That is my opinion on this statement. Let me hear youropinion. down below.
